Happy Birthday Dad!! He looks great for 80 years old and we had such a wonderful birthday party (tribute) to him arranged by Jan. She put so much hard work into making this party so special for him and our family. A lot of family and friends came and there was plenty of food and fun to go around. Wayne did a great slide presentation of his life and Nancy made a wonderful memory book for him with pictures and memories from his 5 kids. What a great night for everyone who came. It was wonderful to see all of the nieces and nephew's with their husbands and wives and all the little kids running around. We had a great place in Hillsboro to hold the party and thanks to Emily for living in the district so we could rent the hall for the evening!! 
This was our accommodations while staying in Oregon. We were the lucky ones to stay with Jan and Dan in this beautiful country setting. So green and lush and just a treat for Sid and I. Jan and Dan are the hostess with mostess!! Thanks guys for the fun time. Sid will never forget the 4 wheeler ride with Dan!! 
Sid petting the cute little foal on the property. He was so friendly and cute. Very soft and liked to nip at you!! I have had enough bites for now!!
We walked the property with Dan and Jan and this was the biggest tree I have every seen. Sid climbed up and I had to get a picture. One of the limbs broke off the front a while back but it is still HUGE! A giant elm tree. 
We had time to laze around in the hammock on Sunday before we flew home. The weather was picture perfect and so relaxing. Wayne came by and we had a great time talking to him about his trip to the beach and getting the latest on Jessie. Jan made cinnamon rolls and we porked out on them while we were sitting outside. Yum Yum!!

It was AWESOME to have you guys! (you are very low maintenance..:-) I'm so glad it turned out well for Dad and he seemed to enjoy it alot. He just likes to see us all together, ya-know? See you in JULY!
What a great vacation, I always love it when all of the kids get together, so I am sure that Grandpa loved having all of his kids there. It looked very beautiful too.
Holy crap, I just read about the dog bite. That is so random that some crazy dogs were loose in that area. My mom got bit by one of Kip Steed's dogs. She could tell you alot more about what to do. I bet you wish Rusty was there to fight for you. Hope you feel better.
